When my Yahoo Bookmarks disappeared for several hours the other day, I decided to sync the Yahoo bookmarks with my IE favorites & clean up outdated links. They are still not perfectly synced between the laptop & desktop, but I don't have to worry about losing the Yahoo Bookmarks.
actually, my worry is the other way round. I tend to break computers/hard drives and then lose my favorites. I use Yahoo to save the "must have" links that might be next to impossable to find again. I wish there was an easier way or more convinient place to keep these as I find it difficult (well really, just a hassle) to "sync" as you say.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I set up the Yahoo bookmarks for similar reasons, though with Windows Easy Transfer, I have kept my IE bookmarks over several computer upgrades. When the Yahoo bookmarks were inaccessible, I realized that if Yahoo decided to "change" this feature, I did not have them backed up anywhere.
ReplyDeleteAnd YAHOO is always changing. )c;
ReplyDeleteWhen are they gonna hire somebody who knows what they're doing??
Yeah,they do change things frequently. The new Yahoo e-mail is OK, but I miss getting Local News headlines on the "What's New" tab. The calendar event reminders no longer displays your full note, so I can't use it for daily meditations.
ReplyDeleteI tried the new email but always had problems with it so I went back to an older version. Maybe its my MS browser it doesn't like?
