Today, I went to Dover to visit DD, and we went to Wal-Mart. I go nuts at the "monster" Wal-Mart in Camden. They have so much stuff there that I can't find here - and a full grocery. I took my cooler & ice pack. I seem to find the Wal-Mart wherever I go. DD says she doesn't shop there except when I come, (because the Target & Safeway are much closer) but she did agree that you get a lot for your $$. We went out to dinner at Applebees - I had Teryaki Shrimp & Steak Skewers, and split a strawberry/lemon cheesecake with DD. All from the Weight Watchers menu. You can be on a diet and still treat yourself at Applebees. Exercize today was walking with DGS and the kids across the street.
Applebees has a WeightWatcher's menu? It's gotta be better than their regular menu. *lol*
ReplyDeleteWe have a Supercenter in Glen Burnie now. I haven't been to Applebees for a while. The WW menu of OK - points already calculated for you, and a few other restaurants have low carb or low fat selections.
ReplyDeleteI've only ever been to the one Wal-Mart locally and I don't like it. It takes so long to find then buy anything there I'm in a rage by the time I leave? I feel saving a couple of bucks just isn't worth the aggrevation.
ReplyDeleteOnly ever been to one Applebees and was tremendously disappointed. If that was the only food in the world I would definitely lose weight. (c;
I was aggravated with my last excursion to Wal-mart for groceries. There were a lot of things on my list they were out of.
ReplyDeleteWal-Mart; "Out of"?? But they practically own the world. Must be that store's managers faults. In part. Maybe. (c;
